    About the artist:
    Yaacov Agam
(1928-) is an Israeli artist that was a pioneer of Kinetic Art, which relies heavily on movement and sensory interaction with the viewer. Agam created a unique experience with his invention of Agamographs, which are lenticular prints that change appearances based on physical perspective. Employing his extensive study of color theory, Agam is able to transcend expectations of wall art. His time in Jerusalem, Zurich, and Paris inform his worldly understanding of the visual and the sensory. He has been honored with retrospectives at the Musee National d’Art Moderne in Paris (1972) and Guggenheim in NYC (1980), and is featured in the collections of many prestigious institutions such as  Museum of Modern Art in New York,  Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden in Washington DC, and Santa Barbara Museum of Art.
