    Pair of candle holders are crafted from walnut by master woodworker Rude Osolnik circa 1960. The tapered almond shape is reflective of the Modernist style. An excellent choice to decorate a mid century inspired living or dining room.

    About the Artist:
    American artist Rude Osolnik (1915-2001) is considered a folk hero and one of the fathers of contemporary woodturning in the US. His works are a part of many elite permanent collections such as the Smithsonian Renwick Gallery in Washington, DC and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. In addition to being a working artist, he was also a teacher whose workshops and demonstrations were highly sought after.
