    SOLD This square, shallow bowl turned from walnut is signed Osolnik Originals Walnut on the bottom. Distinctly mid century, this is a fine example of Rude Osolnik’s premiere woodworking skills.


    About the Artist:

    American artist Rude Osolnik (1915-2001) is considered a folk hero and one of the fathers of contemporary woodturning in the US. His works are a part of many elite permanent collections such as the Smithsonian Renwick Gallery in Washington, DC and the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. In addition to being a working artist, he was also a teacher whose workshops and demonstrations were highly sought after.
