Using texture, pattern, and color, Meyer effortlessly adds energy to her narratives. Titled Expats, Mexicans, and Tourists, Meyer interweaves the story of diaspora into a active scene of individuals. Patterns and textures become more than design, as they transform to become context clues of individualistic expression. Signed by the artist.

About the Artist:
Roberta Meyerson (1938-2009) was a multimedia artist, formally trained in New York City during the height of Abstract Expressionism. Despite being surrounded by artists who were rejecting narrative in their works, Meyerson was drawn to narrative expressions within her own art. Meyerson channeled both aesthetic and narrative. An avid people watcher, Meyerson embellished her observations with her memories and imagination.
