Bronze of a woman titled “Charmeuse” for her silky dress was made by French sculptor Pierre-Étienne Daniel Campagne (1851-1914). The woman holds against a tall stump with a branch extending from her hand to the ground below. A bird perches on her shoulder while two have wings flexed at her feet. The title is emblazoned across the base. Campagne is a well listed artist with works sold at major auction in both Europe and the United States.
