    An authentic mid century modern piece circa 1960, this bar cart was designed by Milo Baughman for Design Institute of America. A polished brass frame has a rectangular shape with inset glass shelves at the top and bottom. A center shelf is split with a handsome stepped design. Caster feet help the cart stay mobile. Signed with label on underside.
     
    About the Designer:
    Milo Baughman (1923-2003) started his career in the mid 1940 in California and is considered one of the fathers of American modern furniture. While he is most known for his 50-year design collaboration with Thayer-Coggin of North Carolina, he also designed for Directional Furniture, Glenn of California, Design Institute America, George Kovacs, and several other companies.
