SOLD This serigraph triptych features photographs of Marilyn Monroe by Bert Stern from their photoshoot at the Bel Air Hotel in Hollywood on June 21, 1962. He was the last person to photograph her before her untimely death on August 4, 1962. Though Stern published the originals time over, he felt limited by the available technology at the time to convey Marilyn’s true beauty. Five years later, he used Day-Glo ink with serigraph technique to create a phantasmagoric image of her. This series of three is double sided and framed appropriately with museum grade materials and UV 70 glass.
This triptych is just one of hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
Great condition, frames are doubled sided but mounted to hang on one side.
