    “Bee My Baby” by Marco is a hand colored lithograph. The cartoon piece depicts a girl and a bee atop a beehive, with white daisies all around. Signed by artist, dated 5/23/99. Text on the beehive reads:
    A little girl was stung by a bee, she kept it but was unhappy.
    Buzzed the bee after three years won’t you forgive me, oh my dear
    Though the pain of the sting was long gone the memory lingered on
    The bee made honey for the girl,
    With sweet kisses they ruled
    The world.
    About the Artist:
    Marc Tetro, also known as Marco, was born in rural Canada and studied art at LaSalle College in Montreal, Quebec. He started his career by creating t-shirts. His recognizable style has earned him a multitude of high-profile commissions such as the The World Wildlife Fund and Yellowstone National Park. He has worked for goliath institutions such as Scholastic ,NBC, Macy’s, the Guggenheim Museum, and Disney. In fact, The Walt Disney Company selected to represent Tetro as his licensing agent, and he was the first living artist to ever receive this invitation. Marco is best known for his cartoon-style dogs with strong black lines and bold use of color.
