  • Product description

Reflecting on the finer life, an original oil painting by renowned Italian painter Luigi Lucioni(1900-1988). A study of collectible luxuries, three various porcelain items are arranged on a minimal surface. Anchoring the composition, an art nouveau style vase, eclipsed by a cup with decorated hedonistic Greek celebration, are joined by a small porcelain dog figurine on the right. The substance of the painting is not so much the subject, but Lucioni's masterful technique in rendering the items. Signed by the artist and dated 1938.
