A hand carved artwork from late Columbus, Ohio artist Lee Csuri(1927-2019). More constrained in contrast to Csuri's more expansive and free-flowing sculpture, Red Birds is an original wood carving with a two dimensional illusion. Set in a intricate, precise, geometric tramp art style frame, this artwork stays in tune with Csuri's appreciation of nature. Four birds each decorated with engraved, jubilant patterns convene on branches that help balance the weight of the composition.
