A hand carved sculpture from late Columbus, Ohio artist Lee Csuri(1927-2019). Hand carved from knot free white pine, Indoor Garden takes a literal form with a metaphorical approach. About the Artist:
Lee Csuri(1927-2019) was born in 1927 in Dothan, Alabama. Having grown up during the depression,
she was determined to find a pathway to a better life for herself through education. In 1950 she received a degree in fine arts from The Ohio State University. Her paintings and sculptures are held in private collections in Italy, Canada, England, Spain, New York City and Columbus, Ohio. She was married to well known Computer Artist Charles Csuri for sixty-two years, and had two children and grandchildren. Csuri continued to create art till she passed away at age 92 in 2019.This sculpture is just one of hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview!
