A hand carved sculpture from late Columbus, Ohio artist Lee Csuri(1927-2019). In Csuri's recognizable folk art style, this sculpture is hard carved from knot free white pine. Vines and flora create a framing enclosure of a horse in gleeful canter joined by a parrot and a cat surveying. A red painted equine blanket with floral motif adds a point of focus, anchoring the detailed composition. Hand carved signature by the artist in the lower right.
