    Fabulous hand colored etching by Kurt Hilscher  depicts a burlesque can-can girl with billowing skirts, an oversized hat, and cheeky thigh highs. Tones of blue and red decorate the otherwise neutral print. Hand signed and titled in pencil by artist.

    About the Artist:
    Kurt Hilscher (1904-1980)
    was a German commercial illustrator who studied at Dresden Academy of Fine Arts from 1924-26. He lived and worked in Paris from 1927-34, picking up a variety of influences.
