    About the Artist:
    Kazuhisa Honda
was born in 1948 and educated at the University of Osaka. By 1974, he had moved to Paris to study intaglio printmaking with Stanley W. Hayter at Atelier 17. Eventually Honda apprenticed under Yozo Hamaguchi and it was under his tutelage that he developed as a mezzotint artist. He became one of the few artists of his generation to undertake the craft of mezzotint printmaking and he was not only responsible for the revival of appreciation in the medium but also for a unique application of it.

This mezzotint is just one of hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
