    The Kite chair designed by Karim Rashid for Dutch design firm Label. This chair is designed for indoor or outdoor use from rotationally-molded polyethylene, with a hollow aluminum rod integrated into the seat for water drainage. The satellite shape has dramatic cutouts for armrests.


    About the Designer:
    Karim Rashid (1960-)
    is an Egyptian-born, Canadian-raised industrial designer who has been called the “Prince of Plastic”. He is currently based in New York City, Belgrade, Miami, and Mexico. He has worked extensively in his field with high profile companies such as Audi, Giorgio Armani, Veuve Cliquot, Samsung, and Estee Lauder. His work is a part of over 20 permanent collections including the Centre Pompidou, SFMOMA, and MoMA.
