    "Innocent Cat" by Dutch artist Karel Appel was made in 1979 as a part of his "Collection of Cats Portfolio". This colorful print has a lavender background with accents of red, orange, green, yellow and blue that makes up the shape of a cat. Framed in a red plastic frame.

    About the Artist:

    Christiaan Karel Appel (1921-2006) was a Dutch painter, sculptor and poet known as one of the founders of the avant-garde Cobra movement in 1948. He completed his first painting, a still life of a fruit basket, at the age of fourteen. At fifteen he received a set of paints for his birthday. Appel studied at the Rijksakademie in Amsterdam and has had his works on display at the museum of Great Samo and MOMA.
