Arts and Crafts pottery vase dates to 1919 from the English art pottery studio Ruskin Pottery. Founded in 1898 by Edward Taylor, the studio was named after the famed art critic John Ruskin, after whom Taylor modeled his styles. The lipped mouth is reflected by the footed base, connected by a smoothly tapered body. A light blue glaze is reminiscent of a bright, sunny sky. Markings on base.
