    SOLD This work by Joan Miro (1893-1983) was featured in Derriere le Miror’s 1971 double issue no. 193-194 titled Miró: peintures sur papiers, dessins (Miró: paintings on papers, drawings). This conceptual, minimal piece is a double page lithographic print.


    Derriere le Miror was a French art magazine created, edited and published by Aime Maeght (1906-1981), who ran the publication from 1946 until his death, with the last edition published posthumously in 1982. The industry frequently refer to this as DLM. The publication began at the end of the second World War when exiled artist were starting to create, free from regime persecution. Joan Miro (1893-1983) was a frequent contributor, and was featured in over 14 editions, including an exclusive deluxe edition. All prints taken from DLM show a snapshot in time of the 20th century, post-war art scene.
