    SOLD Derriere le Miroir was an art magazine published between 1946 and 1982 by the French publisher and gallery owner Aime Maeght of Galerie Maeght, which for many years was the most important gallery in the world for contemporary art. This lithograph by Joan Miro was published in the151-2 edition of 253 prints.

    About the Artist:

    Joan Miro was a Spanish painter, sculptor, and ceramicist born in Barcelona. Museums were erected in both Barcolona and Palma de Mallorca, he is a famed surrealist artist. Miro’s work was described as a sandbox for the subconscious mind, a re-creation of the childlike, and a manifestation of Catalan pride.
