Product description

This piece by Jean-Pierre Weill is an example of vitreography, a style that Weill pioneered. Vitreography is an art form that uses paint on multiple, overlapping panes of glass to form three dimensional scenes. Although not a widely used style, Weill found much success with this technique. Vitreography gives the image a very dynamic presentation, encouraging the scene to be understood and perceived in different ways. “Balloon Over Paris” is #8/375, and includes a certificate of authenticity from Jean-Pierre Weill Studios.
