This “Falling Man” print by Ernest Trova is one of many versions of the same concept, emphasizing the fallibility and symbiosis of man.  With a black mat in a square metal frame.

    About the Artist:
    Ernest Tino Trova (1927-2009)
was a self-trained Surrealist and pop art artist, working in both painting and sculpture. A resident of the St. Louis area his entire life, he started working at a window dresser at Famous Barr department store. At 20 years old, he exhibited his controversial “Roman Boy” painting inspired by Willem de Kooning which landed him an impressive, albeit critical, spot in Life magazine. His series The Falling Man, was a constantly evolving body of work for which he is best known. Starting in 1964, the series acknowledges the imperfections of man and had many iterations through a variety of mediums.

This print is one of hundreds of pieces of art that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
