An early example of an Eames LKX chair from 1951 with a “Patent Pending” stamp on the underside indicating the age and indicating that it was a part of the initial run. This is the lounge height variety with mesh seat and "X" base. Resistance welding was used to created the countless joints on the chair, where an electric current is passed through the metal to connect touching wires to create clean seams.
This chair is one of hundreds of pieces of furniture that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
