    About the Artist:
    Eyvind Earle (1916-2000)
    was a Manhattan born illustrator, author, and artist. He is most well known for his significant contributions to the background illustrations and stylings of 1950s classic Disney animated productions. A lifelong artist, Earle started at Disney in an assistant illustrator role in 1951, starting with short films and working up to films like Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, and Sleeping Beauty. In 1966, he went back to painting full-time working with watercolors, drawings, scratchboards, oils, sculptures, and limited-edition serigraphs.
