  • Product description

Originally invented by Nikola Tesla prior to 1900, the violet ray consisted of an ungrounded electrical control box which housed the magneto coil and controlled the interrupter and the housing handle. The handle contained a high voltage coil and was able to hold an array of glass attachments. Different attachments were said to be useful in a variety of applications. During the 1940s-1950s, an onslaught of lawsuits spurred action by the US government by way of seizures, recalls, and orders of destruction. This particular violet ray machine by Renulife s handsomely houses and includes nine evacuated glass attachments.

This violet ray machine is one of hundreds of curiosities that are available at our location in Grandview! Come in today and see the full collection.
