  • Product description
SOLD “Christ Scourged” by artist P.C. Hodgell (1951-) is wrought with emotion and despair. A moment in time during the passion, Christ wears the crown of thorns, is stripped naked except for a cape, and his hands are clawed in pain. His head hangs in anguish as his bare feet tread the dirt below. The style of this lithograph is highly expressive, using black lines to play with positive and negative space, as well as to contour and create texture.
