    Likely American, this brass compact has jadeite panels with a carved jade medallion on white enamel. The white enamel door opens to reveal a mirror, powder recess, makeup tray, and puff. A wide button on the edge of the compact opens the other hinge compartment, containing two spring loaded arms for holding cigarettes or cash. Circa 1935-1940.
