Black lacquered chinoiserie commode with hand-painted gilt Oriental scenes and red accents; thought to be from the 1950s. Features a single shallow drawer and a cabinet below. Stamped "Made in Italy" on the upper left back corner. Condition: Very good. Restoration work done in 2012. 32"H x 44"W x 14-1/2"D Approx. weight: 40 lbs.
